We had a ton of fun shooting the boudoir sessions last weekend at Thistledown. The building is gorgeous, and, of course, so were the gals who participated! Their partners are going to be very happy with their gifts this Valentine’s Day…
On another note, we decided next time we do a boudoir event, we’re live-tweeting the commentary. My abs got a serious workout from all the laughter, and I feel bad you all missed out on it
It should be no surprise, with how excited Andria and I get about other people’s engagements and weddings, that we love love. One time, I had a Valentine’s Day party at my house. I was like 10 or something, and was so into it, I wrote a song, typed the lyrics out on my old school typewriter, taught it to everyone and made them sing it. My geekiness has about as many boundaries as my heart…
Anyhow, we think people should take every opportunity to celebrate one another. This Valentine’s season, we’re going to be doing Valentine’s mini-sessions in the studio (now booking, they’ll be happening over the next couple weeks), and we’re also participating in a Valentine’s Day jewelry event called the Bauble Hop, with 6 other Ligonier shops. I’m also REALLY excited about my date night! You’re not invited to that…but you can certainly come to the Bauble Hop We’ll have light refreshments, and Lilac Brown will be working in the studio during the event, making delightful anatomical hearts and other tiny clay items for adornment.
